Bronze Moray

The new CuSn8 bronze Moray will begin production soon. Below you can see the drawings featuring black and dark green dials. All of the new bronze watches will use the Top Grade ETA 2824-2 and have a sapphire display window in the titanium case back. The crown, case back, and valve will be made from titanium. The bezels will be engraved allowing the deeper areas to patina instead of filling them with black paint.

Original message: If you would like to purchase one of these designs below, we will keep a reservation list with your name and email. There is no deposit needed to make a reservation. Updated Message: We have quickly reached more reservations than watches. We will continue to add your name and email to the reservation list because some reservations will fall through or we could increase production in the future.

The watches will be in production for the next 4-5 months. We will only hold the reservations for a short period of time once the watches are finished and ready to be shipped. The price will be around $1400. Some details and pricing are subject to change.

Recall notice: If you purchased one of our first 70 bronze watches you can contact us about the recall. We discovered we were sold a bronze alloy that was a composition of copper, tin, and zinc. The zinc is not suppose to be in the bronze alloy. We have purchased a new batch of CuSn8 and we have had it laboratory tested. We are now machining 70 cases for the owners of the first 70 watches. The recall does not have a time line or a dead line. If you purchased the watch from the original customer you may still get the new case. All of the watches are eligible for the recall and upgrade. The new cases for the old watches will also be upgraded to titanium crowns, valves and case backs. The CuSn8 will look more reddish color than the alloy we were given. It will also patina much nicer into a brown color.

Shipping is USPS Priority with signature confirmation in the US, USPS Express EMS for international. International customs forms are filled out with the full value. This is not negotiable. Please do not email us and ask for a lower value to be shown on the documents. Benarus takes pride in our business and we work with integrity. Asking for a lower value is asking Benarus to provide false information to government officials.
